By Kim Palacios hollywoodnews.com: “Prominent rapper Tupac has been found alive and well in a small resort in New Zealand, locals report,” read a bogus PBS.com article posted by a group of hackers that also recently hit Fox News. The fake article went on to assert that The Notorious B.I.G. (a.k.a. Biggie Smalls) was also alive, and hiding, in the same small town. “Lulz Security,” the group believed to be guilty of both the PBS and Fox crimes, is alleged to have stolen personal information about employees from both companies as well as other sensitive information—specifically, information about the upcoming singing competition, “The X Factor”, was compromised during the hack at Fox. Per Gossip Cop, “After posting the fake Tupac story, the group taunted PBS in a series of tweets as the rumor began to spread.” It was not immediately clear what progress was being made in apprehending the crimes.
